Lions, Protests & Drunkards

www.thelegendsoflondon.wordpress.comThe majestic lions in Trafalgar Square caused mass protests as they took almost 30 years to construct. The reason for this was that the scupltor, Sir Edwin Landseer, and his workmen were almost always drunk. The poor lions were stoned when they were unveiled in 1866.
